Full Sail Graduates are Recognized for Their Work On OSCAR-Winning Projects
Winter Park, FL (PRWeb) March 22, 2007 -- A total of 23 graduates from Full Sail Real World Education were involved in the production of 16 individual projects nominated for an OSCAR in 14 separate categories. Of those nominated, 13 graduates were involved in 5 OSCAR-winning motion pictures.
This year marks the fourth year in a row that a Full Sail graduate has been associated with the Best Picture OSCAR-winning film. This year, 1995 Recording Arts graduate, Debora Lulavois, worked on Best Picture winner, The Departed.
Full Sail graduates from the Computer Animation, Digital Arts, Film and Recording Arts Degree Programs are all represented across many OSCAR categories including: Best Directing, Best Sound Editing, Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing. Graduates were responsible for working on some of this year's critically acclaimed films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Dreamgirls and Little Miss Sunshine.
